WE HAVE SOME HISTORY
Born in Surry Hills in 2005 and expanding operations to the Hunter Valley in 2014, we added Sydney Brewery Alexandria and Sydney Brewery Rozelle to our diverse offering in 2025.
We produce an award-winning range of craft beer and cider and 2025 also saw us celebrating 20 years, with hundreds of medals awarded over this time. In fact, we won the inaugural ‘Champion Cider Producer’ Trophy at AIBA 2025 at Melbourne Royal Show, along with a number of Gold and minor medals for our beers and ciders as always.

We draw inspiration from Sydney’s curious characters, from the people, stories and places that make Sydney so interesting. Much like the diverse crew at Sydney Brewery, which is now a much bigger family with our Alexandria and Rozelle crew. Each character is an expression of what makes each brew different, unique in their own way.

Dr. Jerry Schwartz has taken full control of the GABS Festival pausing the 2026 city festivals in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane to reimagine the event sustainably, with a national return planned for 2027.
