We’re raising a glass to International Rum Day with something truly unique – a bold new collaboration brew with our friends at Brix Distillers: the Spiced Rum Black IPA.
This limited-edition release brings together the best of both worlds – the depth of dark beer with the warmth of spiced rum. Layers of rich caramel and toffee from dark malts intertwine with notes of rum-soaked vanilla and cinnamon, while a citrus-driven hop kick from Magnum, Chinook, Citra, and Amarillo adds a surprising brightness. The result is a dark beer that’s rich, spicy, and refreshingly balanced.
Brewed with passion by Danielle McDonald at Sydney Brewery Surry Hills, in collaboration with the talented Brix Distillers team, this 6% ABV Black IPA is one to savour.
