ALL SURRY HILLS

Formerly known as the Surry Hills Pils, the Pilsner illustration is local underworld figure Kate Leigh, a notorious whore madam and sly grog trader in the area between 1919 and 1955, known for wearing expensive clothes and diamonds.

The scissors are a nod to Surry Hills' history as the centre of Sydney's thriving rag trade, while the bird pays homage to local character known as Pierre the Birdman' frequently seen with a parrot on his shoulder.

"TASTY" NOTES

This Czech-style pilsner employs big, bold contrasts, just like Sydney Brewery's home base of Surry Hills. Floral aromas are balanced with smooth, malty flavours on the palate and a fruity, spicy bitterness that brings it all together and finishes it off beautifully.

WINNING!

The King of Albion Street. Our Pilsner has been awarded gold and silver medals and Best Beer in Australia at the Royal Queensland Food & Wine Show 2021.
