Set beside Iron Cove in Sydney’s Inner West, this historic venue has been home to generations of passionate fans, unforgettable games, and the unmistakable roar from the famous hill.

 

Known affectionately as “The Eighth Wonder of the World”, Leichhardt Oval is more than a stadium, it’s a place where community, tradition and sport come together.

 

To celebrate this iconic ground, we have created Leichhardt Lager, an easy-drinking beer designed for afternoons on the hill, big moments at the footy, and unforgettable live events.

 

Developed in partnership with Inner West Council and VenuesLive, the food and beverage operator at Leichhardt Oval, the new lager officially launched at the Wests Tigers opening home game of the 2026 NRL season against the North Queensland Cowboys last Saturday 14 March. 

 

Leichhardt Lager will be available at Leichhardt Oval throughout the 2026 NRL season and during selected events at the venue.

 

It will also be released for fans to enjoy beyond match day, available for purchase online in our web shop and at Sydney Brewery Rozelle.
